CVA barrel size?

The biggest problem is will Bobby Hoyt want to remove that complicated CVA integrated breech plug / percussion drum to do the reboring. Will the existing breech plug be large enough to seat properly in a 60 caliber barrel? You need to call Bobby Hoyt to get his answer.

Answer to question #1 is that I have had/seen them over the years in 15/16" and in 1".
Qustion #2 I don't know.
Do you happen to know how I can get Mr Hoyt number?

I read on here,a day or two ago, that he is away until November. I don't know if that is true so try him but don't be surprised if he doesn't answer the phone.
As has been stated, CVA St. Louis Hawken barrel in .50 is 28” long and 15/16” across the flats. I also had a CVA .54 barrel that was 28” long and 15/16” across the flats, but I believe .54’s could also be 1” across the flats. Also, as has been stated, Bobby Hoyt can remove, and has removed, a CVA breech plug, and bored out the barrel. The question is, will he?
