I bought this smooth bore about two years ago from another member on this forum. My intention was to use it for turkey hunting. I put it in my cabinet, and I never took it out again. I decided to stick with my double barrel for turkey hunting and another muzzleloader for deer here in Wester Pa. This is too nice a gun to not be used. Please note last picture-- the gun has a Chambers Siler percussion lock on it. I do not have the Siler flintlock for it. I had them switched when I bought it, therefore the pictures show it with a flintlock. I am told these Chamber Siler (large) locks are easily interchanged, so if you prefer flintlock, you might replace this percussion lockView attachment 113490View attachment 113490 20 gauge 11.jpg20 gauge 6 (6).jpgView attachment 11349020 gauge 11.jpg20 gauge 6 (6).jpg20 gauge 7.jpg20 gauge 5.jpg20 gauge 4 (2).jpg20 gauge 3 (1).jpg20 gauge 2 (3).jpg20 gauge 10.jpgIMG-1393 (1).jpg. Gun was made by Matt Avance of Tennessee Valley Muzzleloaders. I believe the gun is less than five years old.

I do not have the gun knowledge of most muzzleloader forum members, but I will attempt to provide the information I learned when I bought the gun. The barrel is a 42" Green Mountain straight octagon barrel. It has a rear sight and double set triggers. Bore is shiny and bright. The wood is beautiful, but I cannot say for sure what type it is. There is one small scratch in from of the nipple screw, but it only scratched the brown; I just noticed this after owning it for two years. This is the only blemish I can find on the gun. It will come with the cloth case shown in the picture.
I am asking $1200.00.

Be careful guys I may be dead wrong but the gun in his photo for verification is percussion while the photos above are of a flintlock. Maybe flipper is hacked? Maybe hes legit?

Folks,
I tried to make it very clear in my description that when I bought the gun it was a flintlock. I had the previous owner change it to a percussion lock when I purchased it. I used pictures from when I bought it with the flintlock on. I thought my clarification was clear (beginning with 6th sentence in description), but apparently not. This gun is for sale with the installed percussion lock only. Please note that the picture with my call name and date shows the gun with the percussion lock, and this is how it is offered for sale.
This was my first post for sale to this forum. I read the instructions, and tried to be very careful with my posting . I apologize for any confusion.
