Greetings,
25 years ago my father did a big favor for a friend and was gifted a flintlock rifle. He had no idea It was a functioning firearm until he recently passed it dow to me. I showed it to my local club and they helped me clean it up and identified it as a .45 caliber custom made flintlock . But they didn't have much other information than it appeared never to have been fired. P Bole "93 is engraved on the barrel. It is 58" long. . I'd like to know the style of the gun, the region and time period the gun would have been used. If anyone has any information on this type of gun I'd appreciate it

Thanks in advance

It’s a southern style rifle. Almost looks like a Bean style, with a couple different lines. Tennessee area was famous for them. One of my favorites really. Nice piece!
