Just before all this manure started I told my local dealer to get me a carton of cci #11 caps. He looked at me like I had 3 heads!
But now I'm sitting pretty with plenty of caps and powder. I have about 150 lbs of lead and several molds so I'm good for as long as I'm alive!
A few years back I traded a gun with someone and I threw in 300 percussion caps.... Been kicking myself in the ass for that one.

This is as tight as I can group them without bad caps.
Significantly better than it was thanks for the tips.
 
Scored 100 Remington tens at the local gun store today. Went in looking for balestall an amazingly they had a can they did not have last week. It was the last can but there were four more packages of musket caps. If anyone in Southwest Florida is looking for those let me know and I'll tell you where they're at
