Cookson Marked DogLock MODEL New England fowler. 41" Round Barrel. Purchased from Mddlesex Village Trading Co in Charleston, NH in 2014. Approx. 12" of the Barrel was professionally removed for former owner. Gun has a mirror bore. Some scuffs to wood and metal. Obviously a reenactor gun, by looks of wear. There is a waiting list for these at MVTC, as much as a year. Kinda like the Shiloh Sharps I have been waiting almost two years for. $775 SHIPPED gets it to you sooner than a year.

It is. Seller said it's from MVTCO, that's considered to be one of the better India made gun finishers, though.
Correct. MVTCO takes the Indian guns down and reworks almost every part. Each is completed as orders cone in with custom details. This is reason for long wait periods. A really interesting lock and sparks right nice.
