Very nice Cook and Brother 1861 carbine for sale. Look over pics. Carbine is being listed as used but may have been fired only a few times (if any). Bore looks like new. Wood and metal are very nice but there is one blemish on the metal about 5" from the muzzle. It is about 1/2" x 3/8". Does not take away from the rest of the gun though. Made in Italy by Euroarms. Very nice gun. Asking $650 shipped

The flag on the lockplate is the Stars and Bars, official flag of the CSA. Cook and Brother were famous for having that on there. Few stars because there was only 7 States in the confederacy at that time. It says New Orleans (NO) because it represents an early 1861 model before they relocated due to the Union blockade.

 
That's a nice gun and a great deal. These are 1:48 twist 58cal and shoot RB's very well. I have one and really like it. These guns are hard to come by.
