Converted a Trapdoor Springfield to a muzzleloader

I remember when the kids were small a lot of things we bought for them at Christmas came with the note some assembly required.
I have had a conversion barrel made by Numerich Arms to convert a Trapdoor Springfield to a muzzleloader in .45 caliber. Every time I had to switch the barrels back and forth, I would grumble about having to take the lock apart to switch the hammers.

Well my lovely wife must have gotten tired of listening to me and suggested I pick up a stock and lock to make the switch permanent. How I love that gal.

Here is the outcome after finding the parts from about five sources and it's one of my Christmas presents.

HA ! :hmm:

While I've seen front-stuffer muskets converted into Trapdoor's, that's the first time I've seen the process reversed...
