Ok, my bench is way too clean and organized. I'm feeling the need for another build.

I finished my first build, a kibler SMR, followed by a detour into a powderhorn creation. What to do now? Build another gun?

I've been eyeing the totw trade guns as I'd like something similar to a Fowler. But, I'm also kind of drawn to a pistol build. Sitting fox has a neat looking trade pistol and some french variants.

What can you recommend regarding pistol kits?
Thanks, T

Go with what tugs at your heart strings the most. If it were me, I would search out something that isn't made as a finished gun commercially. Not because they're bad guns, but because I'd prefer to have something at the end of a very long road that couldn't be purchased commercially (and therefore compared to or confused with it).

I've got a build for my son after my .32 caliber is finished. He wants a long rifle in .50 cal. After that I think I'd like to try a Flintlock pistol. Something in a big bore that I could take hunting. Hunting deer here in Pa is legal with a muzzleloading pistol, but it's got to be at least .50 cal and above.
