any one a fan shooting a paterson? it takes some getting used to disassembly to reload cylinder. i'm a fan of early colt pistols. have a belt mod. couldn't find a Texas model for sale when I bought it in the 90,s looks great when you use it with your Mississippi rifle. I also have 1841 riflemans shooting pouch with correct powder flask.

I have two Paterson revolvers. One is the Uberti version, the other is a Colt Signature. Both have the loading levers. The Colt will not be fired, at least by me. The Uberti will e a shooter, I just haven’t made the time to take it out.

There is just something about those Patersons I find attractive.
