I would appreciate help with the following:

I have a powder flask with no box, papers, etc. that someone claimed is a Colt second generation accessory. The only genuine 2nd gen flasks that I know of have a pewter finish and “Made in USA” stamped just below the top. Mine has what appears to be a painted (powder coated?) finish and no “Made in USA” stamp. Is it nevertheless a genuine Colt 2nd gen item? If so, any idea of value or replacement cost? (Apologies for poor photos.)

I have one from a second gen 1851 Navy that looks just like that.
There is one listed elsewhere on an auction site for $250 but that probably isn't realistic (at least to me), unless someone is wanting to piece together a cased set.
