Does anyone know where I can find a replacement mainspring for a Cochran Lock- LH Percussion. The one I have had a stress fracture that finally gave way- its very visible? Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I tried to find a phone number from information and didn't find anything. Do you have a phone number for him? Paul

haven't tried to contact him yet. no phone number. my understanding is that he acquired all the parts and tooling. i might write. good luck.

take care, daniel

I've had luck typing in "white pages" on my home page and then doing a search under the name I'm looking for. Good luck in your endeavor.

I forget which, either a large siler or small siler spring matches up pretty well. I had to heat it to cherry red then spread it a bit. Then heat treat the spring again. This will give you something that will work if you can't get ahold of the fellow in Texas. This was for a Cochran rh flint lock. BJH
