There is an increasing amount of sold items on the first pages in the forums almost as many of the for sale items.

One must scroll thru them [the sold items] to see what is actually for sale.

If the intent was to give an idea of what items sell for a sold forum will do that and clear the forums for what is actually available.

    Just saying.

Also needs to go back to the way it used to be where a seller can mark item SOLD instead of having to contact an admin.

Yup, I offered a hinted warning earlier in the year,, it was poo-pooed,,
Any forum with a busy and active classifieds section needs to be tended.
It's a time consuming chore to stay accurate and current.
Hat's off to those that do the task,, it's not a job I'd take on for free,, least not if I couldn't take the weekend off and have to do overtime the rest of the week to get caught up.
It's great to see the forum classifieds active again,, kind of,, cause I just spent my overtime money here again yesterday!!

At the bottom of each forum is THREAD DISPLAY OPTIONS. For any forum that has prefixes, you can sort by the prefix. Below shows FOR SALE. When I do that, the first thing you will see is all the FOR SALE items. I recommend giving it a try. I think you'll like it.

Still need for sellers to be able to mark their items sold like we had on the old setup.

Also, this tab should be at the top, not the bottom of the page. By the time you scroll down to this tab you’ve seen what’s for sale or marked ‘sold’ so there’s no real need for it or to click it.

Well I spoke too soon, it seems you have to reset the options every time you go back to a forum, wish it could be made permenant.

Must be a way to simply mark an item sold. Thread at the
bottom marks everything "sold", "for sale", etc. Unless I'm missing something this needs to be fixed.

Yes, just put SOLD in the last post. Mods will see it and mark it sold and close the thread. It's that easy.
