I came across this video on the interweb about Cherokee bean bread and got excited.

But, my excitement quickly diminished. I was disappointed to see non-traditional ingredients and cooking methods used. A tasting description would have also been nice.

Has anyone ever eaten this, and was steaming used as a cooking method? If so, how was it accomplished?

I think Townsends could do a better job making this.

Comments anyone?

Looks like something I would try, not traditional, but today’s Indian cooking is no more interested in being traditional then New England cooking or Tex mex cooking today is traditional.
