I traveled through the neighboring town yesterday for work, which happens to be the only town within 4 hours from me to get black powder. When I read that Goex was closing I bought there remaining 2 pounds. Just for fun I called to see if they had any. To my shock they did! He said his supplier normally limited his quantity to 2 for each grade of powder, but has since lifted the limits and he was able to order a large amount of there remaining stock on hand. Walked out with 5 lbs of goex 3f (should of bought it all I suppose). He didn't have goex 2f but had Old E 2f. Might be worth a call just to check!

It appears that Schutzen really is stepping up to fill the gap. I haven't had cause to try it, as I still have a fair supply of GOEX on hand, but I'll probably pick up some soon just in case.
