I was referring to your criticism of the gun shop’s failure to spell Pedersoli correctly, which was swiftly followed by a demonstration of your own inability to spell Hawken.

Well as a dyslexic individual who believes in creative spelling I’m not going to criticize anyone spelling :)
The only kit guns are the Hawkins percussion which I intend to keep and the CVA colonial 45. At first I thought the Hawkins flint was also a kit but it is not.
The fit and finish on the Pedersoli seems a little less detail than some of thier other guns I’ve seen. Yet I have not come across that one as a kit option.

Oh Yea!! well, we sent you guys back to England. (chuckle) Thank you for the spalling correction.

I think most of us would agree that the appraisal is high.

I have both Hahwkeens/Hawkings/Hawkkins and paid: 249 - perc. & 279 Flint (yes it was a while ago). I also paid less than that price for my Walker/Wokker/Wocher. Wasn't it Thomas Jefferson who said he didn't trust a man who couldn't spell a word at least two ways?

Sounds like you got a good deal. Good luck selling the rest.
