"Had a similar issue with Remington caps. Out of 50 only 10 fired. Use CCI exclusively. Never had a misfire. The only issue I have with CCI is that they split and fall off of the nipple. Had one jam my action once. This is less an issue than a misfire, though as I sometimes carry my C&B for self-defense. (And NO! I've never felt under armed or at a disadvantage carrying C&B as opposed to cartridge pistols.)

Wow. With your exp at mis fires you dont feel at a disadvantage? No such thing as second place in a gunfight: Its called first loser. And when hunting game its called unintentional vegetarian Attacked by predator when hunting? Use your new found hammer that used to be called a pistol

Sorry but when it comes to misfires, its a huge deal for me
Hundreds of thousands of corpses in US soil can attest they worked well though.
