Not sure what you mean but I lube mine with a high temp lube. 2cycle oil works but very sparingly. You don't want to get any run into cavity. I apply mine with a Qtip.
 
The handle hinge, oil or whatever it doesn't matter. For the sprue plate and alignment pins I use a tiny amount of moly paste bore prep. Careful, any oil or grease in the cavity ruins the ability to cast a usable projectile. In the cavity, when needed I smoke them with a sooty flame. I have not had good results with sprays like "drop out" in the cavity.
