Howdy folks! Sharing some squirrels I shot yesterday with my Pedersoli Frontier in .36 caliber.

It was a wonderful hunt with plenty of opportunity! I definitely need to work on the front site (file it down to make it thinner or simply replace the front site with a thinner one).

I think I’ll cook/debone the meat and make squirrels and rice.

Enjoy!

A .36 shooter ,wow at last. I get squirrels with my Scorpio ,22&177 pcp knocks their heads off at 50. yards. Still tough buggers to skin, Had kangaroo sassages in Oz so how about spicy squirrel sassages Love to take them with a real BP gun but no police licence and too many houses around. No wild country in most of UK but got a great squirrel infested garden I get excited when I see .36 seldom on the forum as I have a double .36 percussion rifle. 1886 A wall hanger such is life in police controlled uk. I did note on UK eBay you can get both .300 and .35 , 60g and 80 g air gun pellets It’s so tempting to try them but no police permit. Oh well. Such is life in this so called green and pleasant land.
I wish you all well from nr London uk

I wish more young Americans can see how much "freedom" people have in foreign countries. Maybe they would start rethinking their idea that socialism is a good thing.

You have an awesome back yard! Too bad about the license requirements. I’d love to have a double rifle like yours!

I saw the.36 double at holts London auction £800-£1600 Think the auctioneer was bidding me up , bastard, I was too quick to bid too enthusiastic , of course one minute it’s £1600 and it’s mine , just had to have it as it seemed unused, but then with buyers premium it was £2160. Bit shaken I had spent that much think it’s a bit later than 1885 maybe 1920. Seems it’s by the midland gun company. It’s marked “Grand Prix long range rife company Birmingham”. It stinks of midland gun company ha ha. It’s 1/38” twist nice express sights to 400yards ????I have nipples for caps and pistol primers Just missing a patch box Made up various cast bullets But a modified 140g Sierra pistol bullet might be magic as well as .35 air gun pellets Love to hunt deer with it. There deer all around here but you would be in big trouble if you shot one, this is England. A gunny police state , we are outcasts in society it seems. Such is life. Ha ha. I can only wish you well

ps. Love doubles. Posted my 12b / .622 cape rifle a couple of times. Be great for Bear, saw it a holts auction all rusty , got it for £860 but cleaned it up over winter now its mint , great bores Big heavy 12 lb double. Well documented by serial number Reilly 1853 already got a .600 “ Lee ball mould. It’s actually got just two grove riffling for winged balls in left barrel , yes it’s cape rifle, but that don’t bother me. It will spin patched balls fine Whilst big SSG shot in the right barrel. I was lucky as when the Rielly son took in over 1848 he started buying french walnut

Magic thank you for your comments I wish you well. I am not rich at 78 just spending kids inheritance small as it might be. Ha ha Both kids hate guns and hunting obviously brought up by my wife , ha ha.
