This isn't meant to fire up the moderators. In the article it mentioned this as a 16th century breech loader. Anyone seen this before? Must be a one off.

Definitely one of a kind! It is as much of a muzzle loader as the Furgeson rifles are.
 
Yes. Kind of common in Europe with different ignition systems. No gas seal though.
 
Forgotten Weapons has a video on a similar system.

Ian is amazing. Just saw his video on InrangeTV where he cleaned up a brutality match placing 2nd. He has come a long way from his simple historian origins to being quite the marksmen as well!
