Went to the range saturday. Took me two days to figure out how to add pictures. Any way, had pos and neg reviews about the cabela 54 hawken I purchased. This is the very first time I have tried muzzleloaders. I used 70 grains triple 7, Hornady .530 RB, T/C .018 pillow ticking patch.
Result;
Target 1, 25 yards, three ball touching
Target 2, 50 yards, starting left to right, sight adjusted between each shot, Shot # 7 bullseye.

Doc, those targets look good to me. I'd say it's a keeper. Try varying the load up and down to see if it'll tighten up some more. Also try different types of powder. Take care, Rick
