I bought this buttplate by mistake maybe 10 years ago. Have no idea what period flintlock it is appropriate for. Who knows, might want to build the rifle! Help!

Early Pennsylvania around 1780-1800.
Track of the Wolf shows a butt plate they call "An early Bethlehem" that is more of a "thumbnail" shape but it's kinda close to what you have.
