Starting a underhammer project. Allen foundry action and a 32 cal barrel from Oregon barrel co. with a 1:36 twist. I fitted the barrel to the action breech plug. Then I cut the action down and filled to match the barrel.

carved out the forearm to fit the barrel and put in staple tennons. I also drilled and tapped the barrel for the nipple.

Take photos of the final product and post them for those of us who love those underhammers.

Me too. Mine is a 45 I found in the cobwebs behind all the expensive guns at a traders trailer. Priced low, asked, he said that was right. It's mine. Shoots really nice and is light enough I could shoot it.

I love underhammers. it takes real genius to make something so simple and work so well. plus some of the designs were historical too.
