Thanks, I'm pricing the pants about 75.00 less than I normally ask for pants simply due to the good price I got on the leather.

I've got some leather from Crazy Crow, was going to make leggings but started to make other things, now not sure I have enough?

depending on the size a pair of pants including drop front will require 25-30 sq ft of leather.

I sew all my pants completely by hand and I make the buttons by hand using antler.
I want my pants to pass muster even at a juried event.
I did a tutorial in the craftsman section about pants you can have a look here;

I don't sew all my projects by hand, some I use a machine on it's an 1897 hand-crank singer that I find way better than any modern machine because it gives me more control on stitch speed.

Cool! We had one like that at home when I was growing up, came from my grandmother.

Glad they worked out for you and hopefully you didn't curse too much at the buttons they can be really tight when new.
