One good thing about small towns are the small maw and paw shops. Also being a local is a plus! In this instance I wanted to share a very small business that's been around longer than I've been alive, and they also supply numerous other businesses with their handcrafted work. Brubaker Metalcrafts, you name it when it comes to 18th century tin lanterns and other accouterments they make it. I'm currently having them make a custom reverse punched brass lantern and a candle mold which I'm very excited to get! I wanted to show off some of their work and my personal favorites.

One of my tin lanterns :)

Anywho, figured I'd share this jewel of a business. Wonderful people and true craftsman who are very knowledgeable and ones who care about their customers and craft. Give them a call or shoot them an email, they will treat you like family. :hatsoff:

Items like these are exactly how I'm getting my girl interested in the era. Good find :hatsoff:

Indeed, the Betty lamp is neat. I love the Revere lamp too. They're too cool

This must be what you were talking about. Love the look of their lanterns, though a little disappointed they don't have a website. I'll have to give them a shout to see if they can do anything for me.
