    Does anyone know where I can get one made, somebody who has been doing it a while and will make a very good example...??

    Do a search and look for DIRTY BILLIES, they are located in Gettysburg, Pa. I have worn one of his slouch type hats for years when I was reenacting the war between the states. Top notch hats. I do know that they produce hats for different time periods. Worth a shot.

    I reenacted one weekend at the Colonial Williamsburg event, "Under the Red Coat" with the Grenadier Company of the 42nd Royal Highland Regiment and more commonly known as "The Hats" for their Bearskin Grenadier hats they wore, but I have lost touch with them. Great bunch of folks and well documented "Hats" and other uniform items.
