Got this off ebay. Came with a bunch of Pietta parts. (only reason I bought it).
Person stated hammer wouldn't hold unless the trigger was held forward. I had a Pietta trigger spring, had to shorten it some. Cycles as it should now. No problem there. It has four issues. 1. The cylinder to barrel gap is too much. 2. The wedge is loose when inserted. 3. I don't like brass frame 44s. 4. I'm not into snubbie barrels.
Arbor feels tight and I don't see a gap between the arbor and recoil shield. The arbor is pinned in. I tried a wedge from a Pietta and it tightened up some.
Well I'm not fooling with it. I am keeping the Pietta parts.
Make a good project or for parts. Pietta barrel or cylinder will not fit. Nor vice versa.
No idea what flavor it is. Could be DDG, PR, or any of the other imports. Don't have any Uberti to compare.
Asking $155 shipped
