Anyone tell me what PT stands for and if this is in fact a Biscayne
Overall length 6 1/8”
Weigh 15 3/8 oz
Square Mark showing PT ( best guess)

your help is much appreciate
ps: no history came with the head

It certainly bears a similarity in manufacturing technique to the Biscayne axes traded. Bear in mind, the British were also copying this style of ax.

I was hoping that the square mark with PT would give us a bit more information

Research shows that some of the Canadian Contractors for the HBC used Stamps with two initials.
