G’day, All. A long time ago i owned, and sold, a maple-stocked flintlock which i recall was a poor boy style but with a full-length stock. All iron furniture, grease hole in stock, very simple.
I got the idea while sitting in a turkey blind last week to find a rough, mostly functional rifle and “re-draw” the stock and work it all over to be more suggestive of the one i sold during a stupid attack. This will probably involve adding a little wood here and there to get the right dimensions, but if done carefully, i hope they would look a little like an old repair. If not, this is supposed to be fun.
Need to keep this cheap, but still pay a fair price.
If i can make this work, i’m sure i’ll get some pictures posted.
Cheers!
