I have had these split Elk Sioux style beaded legging for over twenty years. I have worn them a few times and they do have a few normal stains, but are still in great shape and you don't look like a Pilgrim.

They are 35 inches measured from top of outside hip to bottom of outside leg (Not counting strap). Thigh opening is 12 inches measured top of leggings when laying flat and 9 inches at the ankles. Hip straps re 16 inches in length.

The beadwork is 16.5 inches by 2 inches down the leg and a 0.5 inch beaded band around the leg.. Twisted fringe on legs is 6 inches in length. Completely handsewn throughout.

Play close attention to the pictures as they tell the story on the condition and the excellence in workmanship. The leather is soft throughout.

I traded for these while attending a ceremony on the Tule Reservation and was told at the time they were made for a Bear Dancer in the late 1950's.

I'm asking $300.00 shipped. PayPal is my accepted method of payment.

No trades considered at this time.

Thanks

Ray

I sent a message, but they may work width wise but length might be a little long. the horizontal white/red bear strip, where is that expected to lay? Just above or below knee?
