This handy sized flintlock would make a great youth or small woman rifle. Or small man, for that matter. Not sure of the vintage of this rifle. It is .45 cal. Lock appears to be hand forged. I sent the lock to The Log Cabin Shop to be smoothed out. Sparks real nice! I had the 7/8"×28" straight barrel professionally cut down from its original 42" for better balance and handling. Barrel was recrowned. It has 1:66 twist. Center of gravity about 4" behind rear sight. Bright shiny bore. Single trigger. The stock is Maple and I reworked muzzle end Poor Boy style. Looks pretty good. I will include original brass nosecap, should buyer be inclined to install. I do not have the dexterity for fine woodworking anymore. Brass fitted. Weighs about 8 lbs. LOP is 12 1/8". $675 + Shipping.
