Gentlemen,
Up for sale is an Austin and Halleck .50 rifle. I believe that was the old stock that sold to Traditions. This has been custom worked to a beautiful browning on all steel hardware and it is de-farbed (no writing on barrel). Nice curly wood and beautiful finish. Excellent condition. I will send pictures if you email

PLEASE email
[email protected]

Price is 550.00 shipped.

Dear 1dogdown,
THANK YOU for posting pictures! I am not computer savvy at all. My wife even has to take pictures and send them to me.
I really appreciate your help!
David

David, to check twist rate, put tight fitting patch on your jag and push it down the barrel. Mark your ramrod in relation to a point on your muzzle, then count the revolutions in a set length. Then its just math.

Gentlemen,
This is what I came up with:
Barrel outside 32''. Inside 31 1/2''. The patch and jag turned half way (as in from 12:00 to 06:00). So....
I assume 1 in 64 or 66.
Thank you,
David
