Will sell on payment plan for $1400 with 25% down and three additional payments, if interested. This is an AS NEW example of the Pedersoli Model 1863 Sharps Sporting Rifle in .45. This caliber is not available through most retail outlets at the moment. This one is virtually flawless, with the most minor handling marks as would come from factory. Absolutely unfired. It has a checkered Walnut buttstock and forearm with a satin finish. 14" LOP. The Barrel is a browned, 32" Tapered octagon - 1.250" at breech to .870" at muzzle. Broached rifling .004" deep with a 1 in 18" twist. 6 lands - .450 and 6 grooves - .458. Pristine, mirror bright bore, with light factory oil. Front sight is a blued tunnel sight with insert. The rear barrel sight is blued steel, flip up w/elevator marked to 800 yards. Rifle also fitted with a vernier tang sight. Ignition is percussion, using musket size caps. Color casehardened receiver, lock, trigger guard, buttplate, and lever. Double set triggers. Weighs in at 10 3/4 lbs. These rifles, when available, retail around $1700 without the upgraded sights. A bargain at $1300 + Shipping.

Couldn't see any date codes and was interested in whether this was late enough to have the newer Pedersoli block mods ( o-ring) or if it has perhaps been modified via Charlie Hahn or Larry Flees?
