I took the barrel of my Armi-Sport 1861 Springfield today and broke the pin off one of the band springs. I think Armi-sport no longer produces the 1861 Springfield. Anyone know who might be selling parts for these? I think Pedersoli might be a possibility but not sure if their's would fit.
 
If you cannot find one perhaps you could carefully drill out the broken one (very carefully) and put a new pin in the hole peen the out side of the pin file flush and cut to length, Might want to give it a go would be a good tedious project but a fun project. Good Luck.
 
Thanks for the help Appalichian and Hawkeye. I'll try and buy a replacement and if a no go I'll try a repair.
