Armi Sport/Chiappa 1842 Springfield Rifled Musket. .69 Caliber, 42" barrel 1:66" twist, broad three groove rifling like the originals. Exceptional sight picture for a reproduction musket, and great fit and finish overall. These newer Armi Sport guns are really underrated. The 1842 was originally rifled for use with .69 cal Minie bullets, but obviously the slow twist is well suited for patched round ball as well. This one appears like new, and includes it's box. This can be a hard to find model, and is NSSA approved.
