Are Navy Arms revolvers rebranded? What about Euroarms? Western Arms?

Hello everyone from freezing Queensland Australia. Yesterday it was a high temperature of 15c! (60 Fahrenheit)

Anyway, I’ve come across a Navy Arms 1861 Navy model .36 In excellent condition. The asking price is quite reasonable but I’m curious about the availability of parts and pieces. Also for sale is a Western Arms 1858 Remington .36 in vgc. I suspect these pieces were made in the 80’s. I’m only asking with a mind to their repair and maintenance.

Many thanks

Im certain Val Forgett, the founder of Navy Arms, had a contract with one of the Italian firms to make his firearms. I read an interesting article about him taking an original cap and ball revolver to them to reproduce. If i was awake I could tell you the company, maybe Uberti or Pietta.
So parts should be available here, not sure about freezing Queensland.

Stay warm.

Modern Uberti parts may not fit a 1980s vintage Uberti. At some point in the early 2000s? I believe they changed over to CNC machining
