Picked up an old knife I believe is a well used skinner with a great brownish patina. Maker mark is well worn with what appears to be a CA...Bros. Five brass pins in the handles. Any ideas of what or when this knife is? 5056142E-4BC8-45DF-A356-0BCC0A8C3EB6.jpeg 55BE10E6-E782-42FB-B010-528591C4CCF2.jpeg

IMO the distinctive handle riveting pattern is exactly like the pattern used by the Nichols Bros of Greenfield, Mass in the mid-late 1800's.
