SOLD Antique. 42 Chunk Gun Project

This is an approximately .42 antique Chunk Gun. It is complete and mostly functional. The lock needs work, as the main spring keeps popping loose. The heavy 42" swamped barrel has distinct rifling, but bore has pitting throughout. Maybe a candidate for rebore. Exterior is uniformly pitted, but no active corrosion. Former owner SS # electro penciled near breech. The stock is in overall good shape with some loose escutcheons and a stable crack at middle barrel pin. LOP is 13.5". Weighs about 10.5 lbs. $325 + Shipping.
