So, what to do when the rain comes down and drops over 2' in a day? Kick back and make caps is one thing, and do research on muzzle loading techniques is what I did today. I want to thank IdahoRon and others for sharing there vast experience on this forum. I made a jig that holds 100 caps and is easy to fill and put in the oven for drying. these caps work better than the ccI 11's I tried, last saturday when I was Shooting for the first time I had 3 fail to fire with CCI, not sure how old they were, placed one of my home made caps and BOOM off she went. I now have almost 200 caps, should last for a month or so. Load development eats them up , but it is so fun.
