I'm amazed how many hunters want to make a "paid for" buck hunt and say , "I shot it with a muzzleloader" , and fail to add the word "inline" to the word muzzleloader. Had one of those fake m/l's so I could cash in on an early season Pa. deer hunt , but it didn't seem right to make meat that way. Gave it to a neighbor to play with.......To each , his own.......oldwood

I asked a gentleman last year about hunting turkeys on his property; he enthusiastically says yes, until he found out I would be hunting with a Muzzleloading double shotgun. He was afraid that I would set his woods on fire. This year, I plan on asking again; however, I plan on letting him shoot my shotgun first as he’s shown a great deal of interest in it since last year. He even wanted a video of me shooting it.

This thread makes me appreciate my situation. I often complain that I have to drive so far to shoot or hunt, but I can drive for 45 minutes and be smack dab in the middle of Tonto National Forest. Nearly 3 million acres and the lion's share of it is open to hunting using nearly anything that launches a projectile with virtually no restrictions. That doesn't sound so bad in comparison to some of your situations.

Brit, are there organizations and associations that can put pressure on the politicians and bureaucrat's to review and amend some of those illogical and unfair laws and regulations?
It is done here, with more difficulty than in the past as conservation departments have become politicized, but it can still be done.
Good luck.
