I recall 3 years ago or so there was a small gunmaker in the US who made a 1777 Charleville. It was something like "Gate House Arms" or something.

He was expensive and theres a wait list but it looked worth it.

Are there any others that make a high end Flintlock Musket? Charleville or Brown Bess, etc.?

I love my Pedersoli 1795 but I figured I'd start planning to own one that I'd be proud to own and shoot for my entire life, that's top quality vs a well made Italian repro.

Hoffman reproductions makes first model Brown Bess muskets. They have a video on their products
