Hey, I'm in central Michigan. You can't get much more in the middle of the Great Lakes region than that!

I'm just NE of Lansing about 20 miles.

Good one!
snake-eyes

I moved up here from TN for work, But I like it here in Monroe county Illinois....except for this recent cold snap!

Iowa is not exactly in the Great Lakes region, but it is in the Midwest, so close enough!

I grew up in the central IL area. I haven't lived there in allot of years but I go back most every year and plan to move back in about 3 years. I checked with the BassPros in E. Peoria and they carry real BP. Not the best price but they have it.

We relocated this year to north Indiana.
Signing the papers today on selling the house in Texas.
Don't have a shooting range in the back yard any more but there are a couple that are a half hour drive.

I came to Midland MI 45 years ago when I got out of the army. Still here and will be buried here. Grew up in the cornfields of Iowa but the pine trees of Michigan beat it hands down.

imagine my surprise to find out that Iowa is no longer in the Midwest!

Fleener in Iowa

I in the middle of the mitten between Flint and Lansing. I've been shooting BP for forty years. It's the most fun I have from any of my rifles or pistols.

The Great Lakes are about a 4 hour drive from my place, that is in NSW Australia. I used to go historical trekking every winter on the Great Lakes.
Keith.

+West coast of Michigan is prime country for hunter, fisherman, shooter. Lots of history. Fairly reasonable gun laws. Michigan may even beat Ohio State this year.
