acronyms may be of good use if one were writing a quarterly report that some 23rd level vice president of a dog food company probably would rubber stamp, but in a dialogue between persons discussing Oh lets say a Blunderbuss?
"yeah my bbhabb/wawnstc&fetrims." translation my blunderbuss has a big bell and a walnut stock with iron trims!
