Accuracy update on my 18 1/4" Investarms .54 cal shorty

The very bottom are old shots from my 54 GPR...anyway here are 21 shots @ 50 yards with 85 grains of my homemade black brew and a 380 grain LEE R.E.A.L. bullet with a 1/8th felt wad. First shot 1 inch above center adjusted rear sight 6 clicks up and let 20 more fly. I couldn't get it to shoot this good when it was 28" with any combo I tried! I can't what for the season to start.

That would make a good hunting gun in a forested area where you are not getting shots beyond 60 yards. Easy to port around, less weight. I like it.

Yes, I cut it down myself and cut a new dovetail for the front sight then recrowned it.

That may be the perfect deer rifle.

Actually with a group like that you should try it out to 100 yards and maybe also at 75 just to see what you get.

I think you might be pleasantly surprised at the accuracy it will deliver at 100 yards.

My shorty is longer at 25", but at 6 lbs 2 oz is very close to yours in weight. And that's with a 15/16" .45 barrel.
