So my new Lancaster flintlock has an ampco bronze vent liner that has been filed flush with the barrel. When the time comes to replace it, how does one remove the old one? Drill a bigger hole in it and use a screw extractor? :idunno:

Also Harbor Freight and I assume other places sell a set of left hand drill bits. I've good luck in some cases using those to drill out a broken bolt. Often the bolt will unscrew as you are drilling.

Those Ampco liners that Tip uses are 1/4 x 28 threads btw. You'll need to know that when shopping for a replacement.
