It's still hard to believe this to be true -- BUT he's got the certificate to prove it -- but those also can be made up ---- I just don't know -- could be just one big hoax :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

Looks like what someone in this state would do as a work around to the plethora of stupid gun laws we have. Meet absurdity with absurdity!
Looks to be very nicely done though!!!

I learnt a long time ago, when someone tells me a story, I go ahead and believe it, if it won't cost me any money. If it's a true story, it's free entertainment. If it's not, it still doesn't matter, because it's still entertaining. ;)

Why not believe it? I would think any volume of BP could be set off with a musket cap, I worked with a lot of C4 in my past and one blasting cap always got the show going. I would like to know the weight of this 1858 as that would negate the recoil of a 1.102 ball.

I didn't think to read the cert. So if you could hold the weight then the recoil wouldn't mean anything. I guess a gun crew was in order.

then just GOOGLE IT?!

I did some further research on this behemoth revolver and I now am of the belief that it is totally true -- amazing to say the least
