Theres a shop that has this bench rifle and the store owner knows nothing of it. The barrel has this symbol any idea from the experts here?

That's GM.
The "bench" quality of the barrel would be determined by the width of flats, length of barrel, twist rate and obviously 50cal.
And what part of "bench" competition it was entered in.
GM makes a good shooting barrel, Ya just gotta figure out what type of shooting it was made for.
