For sale is an 8 gauge percussion left-hand shotgun in excellent condition. The wood is a grade 2 or 3 striped maple. The barrel is 34" and is open-choked. There is no brand name nor maker's mark on the barrel. It seems to be well made. The percussion lock is a Siler and it looks like it would be fairly easy to convert to flintlock. I didn't shoot it with any shot, so don't know how its performance is with shot. I did shoot round ball through it. I was able to get hold of some 9 ga balls and with a thick patch, shot them. They didn't shoot too bad for just having a front bead. $400

Thomas,
Should have asked before;
Bore condition and is it a hooked breech?
Thanks,
