Offering my early Fowler in .62 cal. The gun is in excellent condition, no issues what so-ever and ready to hunt. Built for Turkey and deer this is built like a tank! Stocked in a plain Hard Maple with a Custom Getz smoothbore Barrel measuring 1 1/4" at the breech and tapers to 3/4" at the muzzle. The bore is clean with no rust or pitting and is very well maintained . The lock is a Larry Zorn Early Germanic and is also in top working order. All parts are quality made, the butt-plate is hand hammered and cut and fitted with appropriate square nails. The modest carving is very basic and done in a "folksy" style and the stock is scraped by hand as was the original this gun is based on. The gun has been aged and did have a rifle sight but I have removed it, so one can provisioned easily if desired. This gun is well made, and in excellent condition . Asking 1800 + shipping. I will consider reasonable offers , I am only selling as I bought a house and need some spare $$. Thanks for Looking !
