I've been using the same old stuff for years in my .62. I shoot a .610 RB with pillow ticking patch, and 60 Gr. of 3f behind it. It shoots this load just fine. If I were going for buffalo or something of similar size, I'd up the load to 90 Gr., but haven't taken anything larger than whitetails or hogs with it thus far and the 60 gr. has done it's job.

I use a .595 with a thick canvas patch and 85gr. of 2F. in both .62s. It loads easy, recoil is just push, and is accurate at 50yds. My .60 uses the same ball with a thinner patch. I am running low on 2F, but I have plenty of 3F. I may try the 3F.

I use a .600 ball, 70 gr. Goex 3f, .018 pillow ticking spit patch.

Was out at the range today.

Mine likes a .600" ball and a .012" to .015" patch. The bore's tight and and this load needs a short starter. It's seated over 70 grns or 75 grns of 3F and gives 3-shot groups under 3" at 50 yards. That's as good as I can shoot with anything.

Sorry about that post. When I saw .62 my feeble brain thought "smoothbore". I don't have a .62 rifle, of course.
