I have for sale a percussion ignition CVA Mountain Rifle in .58 caliber. The barrel is a slow twist for round ball and has been coned using the Joe Wood tool (used to be available here on the ML Forum) to allow thumb starting of the patched ball. I have always cut the patches at the muzzle which is why there are scratches in the barrel there.
The fore-end has a crack that was caused by me bending one of the retaining pins to obtain a tighter barrel to stock fit. This crack has been stabilized with epoxy but detracts from the gun’s beauty, I realize this and was just sick when I did it.
This was my backup .58 and has not had much use. The gun was an assembled kit in the white when I bought it from an online auction some years ago. I finished the stock and browned the barrel and other parts.
Don’t know much of its age and solid information on that seems sketchy at best.
I would like to have $400 plus actual shipping cost to your destination
